近年來,隨著汽車的數量日漸增多,交通的安全性也越來越被重視,使得車用雷達的需求大幅上升,相較於低頻段 ( 24 GHz ) 的車用雷達,77 GHz車用雷達更具有優勢,也是未來車用雷達開發的主要頻段。目前市場主流的雷達針對不同的偵測範圍使用不同的天線來產生偵測場型,如遠距離(偵測範圍為150m)模態雷達天線與中距離(偵測範圍為60m)模態雷達天線。對此有人提出了異型波束天線,將前述兩者的雷達天線進行整合,設計出一涵蓋兩種模態的輻射場型(又稱平坦肩型輻射場型)的天線,通稱為異型波束天線。然而,過往的異型波束天線的饋入網路複雜且占用面積大,使得整體面積過大,沒有多餘的空間增加天線單元來提升增益,

無法滿足市場增益的需求。故本論文研究重點為縮小異型波束天線的饋入網路面積。過往研究的饋入網路由三路功率分配器+四路功率分配器+兩個相移器所組成,為了將其化簡,提出了具相位控制與功率分配功能的傳輸線,可將原先電路化簡為二路功率分配器。整體面積也從13x55 mm^2縮小成13x35mm^2,面積成功縮小成改良前總面積的60%。且會以天線的輻射場型是否產生肩型輻射場型,並與過往的研究做比較,成功驗證創新式饋入設計的分配功率與相位控制達到預期的效果。  本論文使用Rogers 5880作為天線基板,其介電係數為2.2 以及loss tangent為0.0009,板材總厚度為0.59mm,設計出的天線
