一般而言油霧在加工過程中會在環境中擴散，導致機器和人員受損。本研究為解決企業對於油霧分離機設計之需求，研究中擬用模擬、實驗及實機開發設計一1HP軸流式油霧分離機的最佳流道，探討不同流道設計下，較佳的入口吸力設計。設計之油霧回收機於回收機入口設置兩道金屬濾油網。本研究提出了一種基於孔隙布林克曼模型的油霧回收系統原始模型，將討論過濾器的數量對風速之影響。它可以減少測試中的原始模型數量，容易獲得壓力和速度分佈圖，並探討各種重要參數對吸力及使用壽命之影響並將討論入口、腔體吸入、空氣質量和持續時間的要求。本研究欲研發之基於軸流風機功率不變之前提下提升吸力之油霧回收機設計，以尋找一較佳流道設計，期望改善

其油霧回收能力。最後進行入口值徑大小改變為140mm及70mm可以明顯得知入口尺寸變小將有助於吸力的增強，並將油霧機腔體進行流道設計也觀察到該設計有助於流道收縮的效果，使其吸力較為平均且集中，預期增加油霧回收的效率。
